My name is Jordan Messer, and I live and serve in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. The Lord graciously converted me in the ninth grade, and from that moment forward the call to ministry has shaped my life. I cannot imagine my story apart from the influence of the local church, which is why I am so passionate about seeing congregations today strengthened and flourishing in Christ.

In 2017, God called me to pastor a declining congregation in a high-stress urban neighborhood. After six years of labor, the Lord allowed us to hand that ministry over to a thriving new church plant with both the vision and resources to reach the community for Christ—a true “passing of the baton” moment for the kingdom. Today, I serve as Associate Pastor of The Well at Crystal Springs, shepherding God’s people on Jacksonville’s Westside.

On the academic side, I hold a B.S. from Bryan College and an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I am currently completing a D.Ed.Min. degree.

Most importantly, I have been joyfully married to my wife, Kari, since 2011, and together we are raising two wonderful children.
